Is this therapy?

No. NaomiLM is a language model. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional.

What makes NaomiLM different from other language models?

Most language models are trained to people-please. Raters reward agreement, so models learn to tell you what you already think. People-pleasing and honesty are not the same thing. NaomiLM is fine-tuned against that tendency. It will not call a weak plan bold, a rough draft polished, or a bad idea brave.

When you describe a situation, NaomiLM separates what happened from what it might mean, and asks you to distinguish between two paths you have not separated yet. It does not interpret your experience for you.

What model is this?

NaomiLM is a 27-billion-parameter model fine-tuned with our own training data, which includes over a thousand anti-sycophancy training pairs and probe-based evaluation. The model runs on our own infrastructure, not through a third-party API.

Where does my data go?

Your conversations are stored on our servers so you can return to them. We do not sell your data. Your conversations are not used for training unless you choose to share them: a switch in settings called “Help improve NaomiLM,” off until you turn it on. You can export all your data or delete your account at any time. After a deletion request, your data is permanently removed after 30 days, in case you change your mind.

Who is behind NaomiLM?

NaomiLM is built by Effective Therapy, based in Israel. Our starting premise: good thinking requires honest input. A model that flatters you away from reality is not being helpful. We refuse to build one.

Does NaomiLM follow rules?

Yes. NaomiLM operates under ten public laws that govern its behavior. These laws are hierarchical: safety comes first, honesty is non-negotiable, and the model must always identify itself as AI. If you believe NaomiLM violated one of its laws, you can report it from the principles page.

Is NaomiLM free?

For now, yes. We are in early access. Pricing will be announced before any changes take effect.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. One click, no confirmation loop. Your account is deactivated immediately and all data is permanently deleted after 30 days. If you change your mind within that window, you can restore it. Zero resistance to leaving is a design principle, not a feature.
